Vice-Admiral (Dr) Jubrila Ayinla (Rtd), GCON, DSc (Hon.)

Chairman, Jubrila Ayinla Foundation

Vice-Admiral (Dr) Jubrila Ayinla (Rtd) is a respected former Chief of the Naval Staff of Nigeria and a national statesman with over 35 years of distinguished military and public service. A graduate of the Nigerian Defence Academy, he also earned a postgraduate diploma in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College. He held top leadership roles including Commandant of the National War College, Minister of Commerce and Tourism, and Minister of Health, and was honored with the Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON) for his national contributions. Now retired, he leads the Jubrila Ayinla Foundation, driving philanthropic and inclusive development efforts, including the Resource Center for the Blind.

Mrs Temitayo Ayinla

Executive Director, Resource Center for the Blind (RCB)

Temitayo Ayinla serves as Executive Director of the Resource Center for the Blind (RCB), where she leads initiatives that provide rehabilitation, training, and support for individuals with visual impairments in Lagos, Nigeria.

With over 20 years of experience in program management, public relations, and development, Temitayo began her career with the United Nations, contributing to impactful programs across agencies such as UNIDO and UNESCO-IBE. She later joined the Africa Progress Panel, chaired by former UN Secretary-General (late) Kofi Annan, where she managed resource mobilization and program operations promoting sustainable development across the continent.

Passionate about reshaping Africa’s narrative, Temitayo founded African Fashion Show Geneva, which ran successfully for five years before evolving into Fashion Week Genève—a platform celebrating African art, fashion, and culture in Europe.

She holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from Fordham University USA and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Webster University Geneva, with additional training in humanitarian affairs from the Institute of International Humanitarian Affairs, New York.

An advocate for equity, and African excellence, Temitayo blends vision with hands-on leadership—driving change at RCB and beyond; and continues to volunteer with global non-profits advancing social justice and inclusion.

Daniel Isiah. O

Program Officer and ICT Instructor, Resource Center for the Blind (RCB)

Daniel, Isaiah O. is a dynamic advocate for accessibility and inclusion, committed to empowering individuals with visual impairments and fostering a more equitable society. As Program Officer at the Resource Center for the Blind (RCB), he supports the planning and implementation of impactful initiatives that empower individuals with visual impairments and promote inclusive development.

An Assistive Technology Specialist, Daniel possesses expertise in bridging the gap between visual impairment and full participation in education, work, and everyday life. He trains individuals on a range of adaptive tools—from screen readers and braille displays to navigation aids and accessible software—ensuring technology becomes a powerful enabler.

With a strong background in technology, Daniel previously held the position of Chief Assistive Technology Instructor at AccessTech Innovation and Research Centre in Lagos. Furthermore, he is a Certified Digital Accessibility Specialist through the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP), demonstrating his commitment to inclusive digital experiences.

Ajibade Adedotun

Marketing Consultant, Resource Center for the Blind (RCB)

Ajibade Adedotun is a Marketing Consultant at the Resource Center for the Blind (RCB), bringing a wealth of experience in brand strategy, digital marketing, and public engagement. With a strong track record of developing impactful campaigns, he works closely with the RCB team to promote the organization’s mission, increase visibility, and attract support from donors, partners, and the general public. Adedotun combines creativity with data-driven strategy to amplify RCB’s voice and drive meaningful engagement with its diverse audience. He holds a B.Sc. in Demography and Social Statistics from Obafemi Awolowo University, an OND in Marketing from Federal Polytechnic Ede, and is currently pursuing an MBA at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He is also certified in Business Analytics (TecVinson AB, Sweden) and Advanced Brand Management (Brand Management Academy).

Adedotun is an Associate Member of ISMN (Institute of Strategic Management, Nigeria), and a practitioner with ARCON (Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria)

Owolabi Abass. O

Braille Operation Manager and Instructor, Resource Center for the Blind (RCB)

Mr. Owolabi Abass A. is a dedicated special education professional with a strong background in mathematics education and inclusive instructional design. With over a decade of experience in teaching and supporting individuals with visual and hearing impairments, Mr. Owolabi brings a wealth of expertise in Braille literacy (including Arabic Braille), assistive technology, and special needs curriculum development.

He currently serves as the Braille Operation Manager and Instructor at the Resource Center for the Blind in Lagos, where he designs accessible learning materials, trains learners in the use of screen readers and other assistive devices and facilitates inclusive STEM education programs. His role also includes mentoring students to develop literacy, independence, and confidence through tailored instruction in both academic and life skills.

Previously, Mr. Owolabi held key instructional and program leadership roles at the Adegbola Hamzah Foundation, Science and Technology for Persons with Special Needs Initiative (SCITEC), and various schools across Oyo and Osun States. He is especially known for organizing impactful workshops and training sessions that promote Braille literacy, digital accessibility, and inclusive learning environments.

He holds a Bachelor of Education in Counselling Education from the University of Ilorin, and a Nigerian Certificate in Education (N.C.E) in Special Visual Impairment and Mathematics from the Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo. Mr. Owolabi is a registered educator with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) and holds a certification in Operations Management. Fluent in English, Yoruba, and Arabic, he is passionate about breaking communication barriers and equipping persons with disabilities with the tools they need to thrive.

Hannah Ojike

Hostel Manager, Resource Center for the Blind (RCB)

Hannah Ojike serves as the Hostel Manager at the Resource Center for the Blind (RCB), where she oversees the day-to-day welfare, safety, and accommodation needs of visually impaired residents. Her compassionate and organized approach ensures a supportive and comfortable living environment for all students at the center.

Hannah Ojike is a certified educator with a Master’s and bachelor’s degree in education. With over 12 years of experience, she has worked as an occupational therapist, program administrator, and teacher, bringing a well-rounded perspective to educational and therapeutic settings.

Sylvester Nicholas. O

Special Education Consultant, Resource Center for the Blind (RCB)

Sylvester Nicholas is the Special Education Consultant at the Resource Center for the Blind (RCB), where he provides expert guidance on inclusive education strategies, curriculum adaptation, and individualized support for learners with visual impairments. With extensive experience in special needs education, he works closely with educators, caregivers, and stakeholders to ensure that teaching methods and learning environments are accessible, effective, and empowering.

He also instructs and supervises vocational training programs, helping students gain practical skills for greater independence and employability. His expertise plays a vital role in shaping RCB’s educational programs and promoting inclusive learning practices.

Bello Omotoyosi

Hostel Manager, Resource Center for the Blind (RCB)

Bello Omotoyosi is a Hostel Manager at the Resource Center for the Blind (RCB), responsible for ensuring the well-being, discipline, and daily care of visually impaired students. She provides a safe and nurturing environment that supports their personal growth and independence.

With a background in hospitality and caregiving, Ms. Bello brings a unique blend of organizational discipline and compassionate care to her role.

Ms. Bello holds a Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) from Gabliz College. Her dedication to service, attention to detail, and empathetic approach make her an integral part of the RCB community.

Oke Kafayat Temitope

Social Media Manager, Resource Center for the Blind (RCB)

Oke Kafayat serves as the Social Media Manager at the Resource Center for the Blind (RCB), where she drives the center’s digital presence and storytelling strategy to promote inclusion, advocacy, and public engagement for the visually impaired community. She is responsible for creating and managing content across platforms, developing impactful campaigns, and amplifying the voices and achievements of RCB’s beneficiaries, programs, and partners.
With a strong background in digital marketing, media strategy, and communications for non-profits,

Kafayat brings both creativity and technical expertise to her role. She holds professional certifications in Digital Marketing, Social Media Management, and Content Strategy, equipping her with the skills to craft compelling narratives, optimize audience reach, and track performance analytics.
Passionate about social impact and digital innovation, Kafayat is committed to using media as a tool for change—ensuring that RCB’s mission and stories resonate with both local and global audiences.

Ibrahim Zainab

Administrative Officer, Resource Center for the Blind (RCB)

Ibrahim Zainab serves as the Administrative Officer at the Resource Center for the Blind (RCB), where she manages daily operations, record keeping, and organizational coordination. Her efficiency and attention to detail ensure smooth administrative support across all departments.

With a strong commitment to service and structure, Zainab plays a vital role in maintaining order and facilitating communication within the center, helping to create an environment where staff and students can thrive.

Zainab Ibrahim holds an SSCE certificate as her first school leaving certificate, she holds a OND certificate in hospitality management Yaba college of technology. And she is presently doing her higher diploma program in hospitality management in Yaba college of technology.

She previously served as a Business Center Manager at Chelis Bookazine Company and also worked as a Baker at Cream Slices Company.

Austin Daniel

Instructor, Resource Center for the Blind (RCB)

Austin Daniel is an Instructor at the Resource Center for the Blind (RCB), where he provides tailored academic support and skill-based training for individuals with visual impairments. Dedicated to inclusive education, he plays a key role in helping students build confidence, independence, and practical knowledge essential for their personal and professional growth.
